Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic innovation roadmap aligned with organizational vision
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for alternative futures and market disruptions
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging tech trends into development pipelines
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and external industry forums
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks using predictive modeling frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience developing innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (preferred)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, backcasting)
