Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biodegradable electronics) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption scenarios
- Architect cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligning with company's 10-year vision
- Lead stakeholder workshops to translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and automation implementations
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor emerging futurists through our Innovation Incubator program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals on predictive technology analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and technology foresight frameworks
- Proven track record of launching at least three disruptive tech products
- Certification in Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston or University of Strathclyde)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures and AGI development timelines
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for executive audiences
