Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, regulatory shifts, and sociological impacts to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop and implement multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and emerging market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic concepts (AI ethics, quantum integration, biotech convergence)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and research institutions to capture cutting-edge innovations
- Present compelling future scenarios to stakeholders, translating complex foresight into executable business strategies
- Design and maintain a technology radar system to continuously monitor emerging threats and opportunities
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across all organizational levels
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurism with proven impact on organizational roadmaps
- Demonstrated expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI ethics, neurotech, climate tech, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation (white papers, patents, or industry keynotes)
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives within Fortune 500 or high-growth technology environments
