- Conduct horizon-scanning research and competitive analysis in emerging domains
- Design strategic innovation pilots to validate futuristic concepts
- Lead cross-functional workshops on technology adoption scenarios
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and executive stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts and technologists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting disruptive tech trends (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience scaling technology solutions in Fortune 500 environments
- Presentation skills for executive audiences and investor forums
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
