Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology foresight frameworks for 2026+ market opportunities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum AI, neuro interfaces, climate tech) to inform R&D priorities
- Lead 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives identifying disruptive innovations with 3-5 year impact
- Collaborate with C-suite to align strategic roadmaps with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Present findings to global stakeholders through TED-style talks and white papers
- Mentor 'Future Architects' program grooming next-gen tech leaders
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Futures Studies, or Systems Engineering
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) on AI ethics or quantum computing
- Proven track record influencing global tech policy (e.g., IEEE standards, EU AI Act)
- Fluency in futures methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies successfully commercialized from concept to market
- Security clearance for national innovation initiatives preferred
