Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum AI and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in 2026+ markets
- Analyze patent landscapes and academic research to identify breakthrough innovation vectors
- Partner with product teams to prototype commercial applications of nascent technologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Author whitepapers on future technology adoption curves and market readiness
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 7+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Experience securing government grants for advanced R&D projects
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
