Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology vision, focusing on quantum-AI convergence and neurotech integration
- Lead high-stakes R&D initiatives in emerging fields (e.g., synthetic biology, decentralized AI)
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and external stakeholders (VCs, regulators, industry consortia)
- Drive innovation through our FutureForge lab, managing $2M+ annual prototyping budgets
- Anticipate global tech disruptions via predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Mentor a team of 5+ futurist researchers and engineers
- Publish thought leadership in MIT Tech Review and Wired
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with demonstrable impact on enterprise roadmaps
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or decentralized AI
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (e.g., launched 2+ patent-pending products)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience securing $1M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Published author or frequent keynote speaker at global tech forums (e.g., Davos, Web Summit)
