Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2025-2027 horizon) and develop strategic implementation frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-facing solutions using AI, AR/VR, and quantum computing
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into current roadmaps
- Present strategic visions to executive stakeholders and investor boards with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and conference presentations
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging technologies and identify first-mover advantages
- Manage innovation incubation programs for experimental technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record developing 5-10 year tech roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong background in agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or innovation grants
