Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global trends, technological breakthroughs, and socio-cultural shifts to map 2026+ scenarios
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks for product development, market entry, and innovation pipelines
- Lead executive workshops to align leadership on future-facing opportunities and risk mitigation
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future projections into actionable business roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Author thought leadership content that positions Horizon as the voice of tomorrow
- Champion ethical innovation and sustainable futures across all strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing C-level decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futures projects with measurable impact
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
