Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for long-term organizational adaptation and competitive advantage
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate futurist insights into enterprise roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Design and facilitate future-focused workshops with global stakeholders to co-create transformational solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and executive briefings on emerging megatrends and their implications
- Oversee cross-functional implementation of future-proof strategies across product, R&D, and sustainability domains
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-generation solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Management, or equivalent field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level experience communicating complex futures concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals (e.g., HBR, WEF reports)
- Experience leading global teams in high-uncertainty environments with measurable transformation outcomes
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic foresight implementations
