- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer next-generation solutions
- Design and oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies with 5+ year implementation horizons
- Mentor leadership teams in adaptive strategy methodologies and future-proofing organizational structures
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon Dynamics as the 2026 innovation authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning with proven experience in long-term horizon scanning
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: Generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Portfolio of published futures research or scenario planning projects
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on transformational strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
- Fluency in futures methodologies: Delphi, STEEP analysis, and cross-impact matrices
