Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2026 horizon) to develop strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Lead scenario-planning workshops forecasting socio-technological shifts and their business implications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions in our innovation lab
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive technologies and their societal impact
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness metrics across organizational functions
- Mentor junior futurists and facilitate cross-departmental innovation sprints
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi technique)
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into actionable business narratives
- Experience developing scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management (e.g., CFCS, CIPM)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
