Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 3-5 year impact analysis
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026 product roadmaps and market positioning
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk mitigation
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs for rapid prototyping of emerging solutions
- Author thought leadership content on tech trends and future-proofing strategies
- Partner with R&D to prioritize breakthrough research initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy roles
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, clean energy)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business plans
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or relevant technical field
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Strong network of futurists, VCs, and academic researchers
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
- Experience building and scaling innovation ecosystems
