Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to forecast market disruptions and opportunities through 2026
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks to guide R&D investments and product roadmaps
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare the organization for multiple future states
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype future-facing concepts and validate hypotheses
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry conferences
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and innovation pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future strategies
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
