Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning models to prepare organizations for future uncertainties and exponential change
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and presentations for executive leadership and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future trends into tangible product roadmaps and R&D agendas
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems, patent landscapes, and academic breakthroughs
- Represent the company at future-focused conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy and product development
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario modeling, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
- Global perspective with understanding of geopolitical and socio-cultural drivers of change
