Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and sociocultural signals to develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate 2026-ready technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, AGI applications)
- Design innovation incubation programs for emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Develop competitive advantage blueprints for post-2025 market landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts and innovation strategists
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and future-readiness across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into commercial products or services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum, Web3)
- Credibility with C-suite executives and ability to influence strategic decisions
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, MBA, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (e.g., MIT Tech Review, HBR)
- Experience building innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
