Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze disruptive technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and market signals through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients in emerging sectors
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare organizations for black swan events and paradigm shifts
- Produce executive-ready future intelligence reports with quantifiable impact assessments
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex future projections into product innovation pipelines and market entry strategies
- Advose C-suite teams on resilience-building and adaptive governance models for 2026+ landscapes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from futurist school or similar institution) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future intelligence projects with measurable outcomes
- Experience publishing in futurist journals or presenting at global innovation forums
