Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026-2030 Technology Foresight Framework through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and executive leadership team
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and government innovation labs
- Author quarterly 'Future Pulse' reports for investor and stakeholder communications
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with ROI-driven portfolio allocation
- Mentor junior futurists and build the company's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD/Master's) in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Innovation Management
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or technology consulting
- Portfolio demonstrating successful trend-to-market translation (patents, launched products, or published frameworks)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuro-interfaces
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., Shell Scenarios, Delphi Method)
- Experience with scenario planning tools and data visualization platforms
- Proven ability to influence C-suite executives and board members
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (books, journals, or keynotes)
