Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging markets
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing technologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Produce trend reports and horizon scanning analyses quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Proven track record of launching market-defining innovations
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
- Experience building cross-industry innovation ecosystems
