Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps identifying emerging trends in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping futuristic scenarios to product development pipelines
- Analyze market disruption vectors using predictive analytics and horizon scanning methodologies
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Design resilience frameworks for geopolitical and climate-related business risks
- Present strategic futures to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized products
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures Methodology (CFP) or similar preferred
- Experience publishing foresight reports or whitepapers
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences
