- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and sustainability
- Conduct primary research through ethnographic studies and expert interviews to forecast market evolution
- Translate foresight into strategic roadmaps with measurable KPIs and investment recommendations
- Partner with product teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present insights to executive stakeholders and industry conferences to position Nexus as a thought leader
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with proven futurist track record
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Proficient in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Experience developing innovation pipelines for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC from APF) preferred
