Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast market opportunities through 2030
- Design and lead cross-functional innovation sprints for futuristic product/service concepts
- Develop strategic frameworks for ethical implementation of disruptive technologies
- Present trend insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify paradigm-shifting developments
- Mentor junior innovation specialists on future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Strong background in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies on transformation initiatives
