Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to inform long-term corporate planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into executable initiatives
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready innovations into development roadmaps
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech forums and shape industry discourse
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodology expertise
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) required
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-vision implementation projects
