Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps using predictive analytics and trend forecasting
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-generation solutions (AI, quantum computing, bio-integration)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and venture capital firms
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities across global tech ecosystems
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members through compelling visual narratives
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to cultivate internal ideation culture
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for high-potential experimental projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 3+ years market lead time
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Advanced certification in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or innovation grants
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
