Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps across quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Translate technical breakthroughs into market-ready business strategies and KPI frameworks
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven expertise in forecasting emerging tech (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized future-tech initiatives
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience scaling technology roadmaps from concept to market leadership
- Demonstrated ability to navigate regulatory and ethical tech landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
