Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for 5-10 year tech disruptions
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D budgets through compelling executive presentations
- Publish thought leadership pieces in top-tier tech journals
- Mentor junior strategists in future-gazing methodologies
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or sustainable tech
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight
- Published research in IEEE/Nature/Science journals preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic a significant advantage
