Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with quantifiable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for experimental projects
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks and responsible tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in launching breakthrough products or services
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Experience scaling teams from 10 to 100+ professionals
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Prior experience with Fortune 500 strategic planning
