Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging tech solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough innovations with 3-5 year market impact
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and venture capital partners
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technological adoption ROI
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic labs and government innovation initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in scaling emerging tech from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, sustainable tech, Web3)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Prior experience with billion-dollar tech portfolio management
