Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.) and assess viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, blockchain, and next-gen computing
- Develop competitive intelligence frameworks for future tech disruption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Manage vendor partnerships for experimental tech prototyping and validation
- Mentor innovation teams in future-focused problem-solving methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 3+ years ahead-of-market timing
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology Foresight preferred
