Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AR/VR) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with rapid iteration cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech startups
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to C-suite executives
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and internal R&D initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Experience developing patent portfolios and IP protection strategies
- Strong presentation skills with executive stakeholder management
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
