- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year market impact
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future tech insights into business roadmaps and investment decisions
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present future technology frameworks to executive leadership and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and rapid prototyping cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
