Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and ethics teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with global impact potential
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and external stakeholders (VCs, governments)
- Manage $2M annual innovation fund for prototyping 2026-ready solutions
- Author thought leadership on future tech ethics and societal implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate tech)
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (2019-2023)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and trend analysis platforms
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
