We're seeking a visionary Future Technology Strategist to architect our 2026 innovation roadmap and pioneer next-generation solutions that redefine industries. This role blends cutting-edge research with practical implementation, requiring a blend of technical expertise and strategic foresight. You'll lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum computing applications, AI-driven sustainable systems, and immersive digital ecosystems while ensuring ethical scalability.
Our San Francisco hub offers unparalleled resources including a quantum lab, generative AI studio, and partnership with NASA's Artemis program. This position reports directly to the Chief Innovation Officer and includes equity participation in breakthrough ventures.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, focusing on quantum-AI convergence and sustainable tech
- Lead R&D initiatives in neuromorphic computing and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs)
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on emerging tech incubation programs
- Develop ethical frameworks for AGI deployment and quantum security protocols
- Drive innovation sprints with partners including SpaceX and IBM Research
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists through InnovateNext's NextGen program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurism
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neural networks, and blockchain 3.0
- Published research in Nature/Science on future tech applications
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Security clearance preferred for government partnership projects
- Speaking engagements at Web Summit or similar conferences required
