Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with commercial potential (AR/VR, neuromorphic chips, etc.)
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors on tech disruption risks/opportunities
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Oversee prototyping cycles for next-gen solutions in controlled innovation labs
- Drive ethical technology governance frameworks for responsible AI deployment
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing architectures and methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in emerging tech specialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or decentralized AI
- Proven track record of launching commercialized futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in IEEE/ACM journals on emerging technologies
- Certification in Technology Strategy (e.g., MIT Technology Review Executive Program)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for AI/quantum technologies (NIST, EU AI Act)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts to executive audiences
