Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and assess their strategic implications for 2026+
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities
- Champion cross-functional innovation initiatives between engineering, product, and operations teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry consortiums
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies in strategic planning and technology evaluation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or emerging tech leadership roles
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or neuromorphic systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD or MBA preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and futures research methodologies
- Executive presence with demonstrated success influencing C-level decision-making
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy or innovation (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
