- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends (quantum, biotech, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present tech roadmaps to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers and industry conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or innovation management with Fortune 500/SaaS experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
