Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2023-2026 horizon) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for next-gen product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating disruptive innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
- Quantify market potential and ROI for futuristic technology investments
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record in launching at least 2 paradigm-shifting products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (e.g., Nature Tech, IEEE Spectrum)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding for emerging technologies
- Fluency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
