Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, aligning with corporate vision
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Manage annual $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused metrics
- Author thought leadership on future-tech ethics and sustainability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough tech products/services
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (e.g., CFTE)
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams
- Published research or patents in future-facing technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
