Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic)
- Secure $2M+ in annual R&D grants through competitive federal/state programs
- Pioneer industry standards through IEEE/ISO committee participation
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (e.g., synthetic biology, AGI)
- Mentor 5+ junior strategists through our Innovation Accelerator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent breakthrough portfolio
- Published 3+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals
- Proven track record of scaling tech from prototype to market
- Expertise in at least two domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and system architecture design
- Active participation in global tech forums (e.g., Davos, CES)
- Security clearance preferred for federal collaboration projects
