Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmapping for 2026-2030 product lifecycle
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-gen AI deployment
- Coordinate cross-functional R&D teams across 5 global innovation hubs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D budget allocation
- Patent 3+ breakthrough technologies annually
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ years in strategic planning
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
- Experience managing global R&D teams (min 15 members)
- Certified in Technology Strategy Management (TSM)
- Portfolio of 5+ implemented future-tech solutions
