Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead strategic initiatives for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum, blockchain, IoT)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technological disruption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor partnerships
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-tech implementation
- Author thought leadership publications and industry conference presentations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven experience with emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation (e.g., CFTE, CSTE)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Track record of executing multi-year tech transformation projects
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience with agile methodologies and innovation frameworks
