Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI, and neurotech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and product managers in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, neural interfaces) for commercial viability
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology vision to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $15M annually
- Mentor junior technologists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech (quantum/AI/neurotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neural interfaces
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and market modeling
- Experience managing R&D budgets and cross-functional teams of 20+ professionals
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or future-tech journals
