Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI in future-facing initiatives
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Mentor emerging technologists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record launching products with 2026+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics preferred
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology commercialization successes
