Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with 2026+ strategic objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead innovation workshops and scenario planning sessions with executive stakeholders
- Build ROI models for futuristic tech investments and present to investment committees
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term technology adoption and impact
- Partner with R&D to incubate breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year horizons
- Author thought leadership on future tech trends and disruptor threats
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven experience with futures methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, trend analysis)
- Strong financial modeling skills for long-term tech investments
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy or innovation journals
- Experience scaling technology teams in high-growth environments
