Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions including quantum-secure networks and adaptive AI systems
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for competitive advantage opportunities
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate innovation cycles
- Present technology vision to investors and board members securing $50M+ annual R&D allocation
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous systems deployment
- Mentor emerging technologists through our Future Leaders Academy program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products
- Expertise in at least three emerging technologies: quantum computing, advanced AI, or bio-integrated systems
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets and managing cross-continental innovation teams
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Proficiency in technology forecasting methodologies including Delphi and Horizon Scanning
- Strong network of connections with DARPA, IEEE, or similar innovation ecosystems
