Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional task forces to incubate moonshot projects with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption vectors
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and national innovation labs
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and autonomous system integration
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board with data-driven strategic recommendations
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and lean experimentation methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated impact in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI development frameworks
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to billion-dollar valuation
- PhD or equivalent in computational science, systems engineering, or futurism
- Published thought leadership in Nature, IEEE, or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants for advanced R&D initiatives
- Portfolio of deployed systems operating at >10M user scale with exponential growth patterns
