Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategies aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs to measure strategic initiative impact and ROI
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership on emerging technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product management, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Strong data analysis and strategic modeling capabilities
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio of successful innovation initiatives
- Experience in venture capital or startup ecosystems
