Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, focusing on AI governance, quantum computing applications, and decentralized ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, cybersecurity, and product teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, ambient computing) and assess commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors and C-suite executives with data-driven impact projections
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen technologies, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory landscapes
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships for experimental technology adoption
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of technological curiosity and responsible innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Strategy; PhD preferred
- 12+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies with measurable market impact
- Deep expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing, or blockchain architectures
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- C-suite presentation experience with demonstrated ability to influence high-stakes decisions
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience scaling technology teams across multiple locations and time zones
