Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 18-36 month adoption windows
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Collaborate with C-suite to align technological innovation with business KPIs
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 500 partners on future tech implications
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, blockchain, or neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech products
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (preferred)
- Published thought leadership on technology disruption in peer-reviewed journals
- Fluency in scenario planning frameworks and system dynamics modeling
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology initiatives
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
