Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead ideation sessions for emerging tech applications (Web4, AR/VR integration, decentralized systems)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape studies for emerging technologies
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic innovations into commercial offerings
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and industry thought leaders
- Mentor junior futurists and establish internal innovation frameworks
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies at scale
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or bio-integrated systems
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or reputable platforms
- Fluency in strategic visualization tools (e.g., Palantir, Tableau) and trend analysis software
